Provide advanced critical care and emergency medical support within a fast-paced international healthcare environment serving U.S. government personnel in Iraq. Working alongside physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary emergency response teams, this Critical Care Paramedic role combines high-acuity patient care with rapid clinical assessment, advanced intervention, and collaborative care coordination across emergency response and inter-facility transport operations. This position offers the opportunity to manage complex medical and trauma cases while practicing at an advanced clinical level in a highly collaborative operational setting.

Requirements

Certification from an accredited Paramedic program with current unrestricted U.S. Paramedic licensure and National Registry EMT-P certification.
Current CCP-C or FP-C certification required.
Current BLS, ACLS, and advanced trauma certification (PHTLS, ITLS, TCCC, or equivalent).
Recent high-acuity paramedic or critical care transport experience with advanced emergency response responsibilities.
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with a valid passport
Ability to obtain and maintain MRPT security clearance and meet pre-deployment physical requirements.

Responsibilities

Deliver advanced life support and critical care interventions during emergency responses and inter-facility transports across a broad range of medical and traumatic presentations.
Assess, stabilize, and manage critically ill or injured patients using advanced airway management, cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and resuscitative care techniques.
Operate and interpret specialized critical care equipment including ventilators, infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, and 12-lead ECGs to support patient treatment and transport decisions.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to support continuity of care across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient clinical environments.
Support operational readiness through accurate documentation, equipment management, supply oversight, and participation in ongoing training and clinical competency activities.
