About The Position

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible critical care anesthesiologist to join Lehigh Valley Physician Group (LVPG) Anesthesiology, part of Jefferson Health. This role involves providing care within the 11-bed cardiothoracic ICU, closely partnering with the Bruce & Robbi Toll Heart and Vascular Institute. The position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse patient population, including those requiring ECMO and LVAD/RVAD, and to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team with 24/7 APC coverage. There is flexibility in the clinical split between ICU and OR duties. The role also supports a strong academic environment with 17 ACGME-accredited training programs and an anesthesiology residency, with opportunities for supported clinical research.

Requirements

Passion for clinical work to positively impact patient care, safety and experience.
Must be American Board of Anesthesiology Critical Care board-certified or board-eligible.
A valid Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

Provide care in an 11-bed cardiothoracic ICU.
Manage a mixed-acuity patient population, including ECMO, LVAD/RVAD, CABG, valve, aortic and thoracic surgery cases.
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team supported by 24/7 APC coverage.
Contribute to a robust academic environment, including 17 ACGME-accredited training programs and an anesthesiology residency.
Participate in and pursue supported clinical research opportunities.
