About The Position

Greater Nashua Mental Health is seeking a Crisis Support Specialist to join its Emergency Services team. The role combines administrative support for crisis deployments with occasional community-based deployment when other team members are unavailable. In the community, the specialist works alongside Emergency Services clinicians and peers to respond to client crises and facilitate evaluations. When office-based, the specialist supports the team before, during, and after deployments by helping clients access services, updating clinical records, gathering insurance information, and coordinating with deployment partners. The position also handles urgent-care appointment scheduling and other administrative and operational tasks, responds to the Emergency Services Support Line, and helps maintain readiness of agency facilities, vehicles, apartments, and work spaces. The specialist may briefly monitor and support clients in crisis apartments to provide relief for other Emergency Services staff. When a peer or clinician is absent or unavailable, the specialist may support office- or community-based deployments and urgent-care appointments, conduct onsite risk assessment and crisis engagement, and facilitate crisis evaluations with a telehealth clinician.
