The Mobile Crisis Supervisor is responsible for supervising the delivery of services in the Mobile Crisis Program in accordance with all program guidelines. This role manages the DAYTIME crisis response system, including referral intake and/or client emergencies. The supervisor reviews intake information of clients referred for services and determines referral acceptance and case assignment. They oversee case responsibilities and provide guidance in case-planning, as well as weekly supervision to professional and para-professional staff on therapeutic approaches with clients, offering administrative case support. The supervisor reviews all written documents created by staff, funding source policies and procedures, updates procedures according to state requirements, and trains staff on implementation. They ensure consistency in case files, review that documentation is filed accordingly, and ensure staff handles unusual incidents promptly and effectively. The role also involves completing various outcome reports, participating in required meetings and trainings with the funding source, providing staff with training, education, ongoing supervision, and support, and engaging staff in professional development. Additionally, the supervisor monitors program expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints, ensures adherence to contractual obligations with the funding source, and ensures billing accuracy and timeliness, completing billing procedures for private contracts when necessary. The supervisor handles client, staff, caretaker, and/or collateral complaints and grievances, conducts regular unit/team meetings with staff, and participates in various collateral and community groups to promote agency programs and presence within the community, creating community linkages and opportunities. They also participate in public speaking engagements to promote agency programs and services, and agency management meetings and work groups. The role assists CQRI in the development of agency documentation to enhance programming and to meet the requirements of the funding source policies and procedures, working to ensure quality of service and the achievement of program outcome goals. The supervisor provides direct service to children and families in the absence of assigned staff, manages case assignments to ensure an equal distribution of cases and to maintain appropriate staff-to-client ratios as outlined by the funding source, and ensures adequate client contact is maintained in accordance with specific program guidelines and minimum required contact hours are achieved each month. They ensure staff at all levels are closely monitoring child and client safety and are appropriately responsive to any situation posing a risk to, or by, a client. Performance appraisals are completed and submitted in a timely manner, and a positive organizational culture is maintained. The supervisor also oversees interns and performs duties independently.
