The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking a Crisis Services Manager (Social Services Manager I) to oversee aspects of Maine’s State-contracted crisis services continuum, including Mobile Crisis Response, Statewide Crisis Hotline, Crisis Receiving, and Crisis Residential. This administrative position provides direct oversight to contracted agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The role involves developing and managing contracts, approving and tracking invoices, participating in procurement, and overseeing program performance statewide. The position also collaborates with the Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) Crisis Team on system model development, reform, and implementation aligned with national standards for crisis care and the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. This position does not provide direct services to individuals in need.
