Requirements

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
  • Must have at least two years of related behavior technician experience, including at least 1 year experience providing direct support to individuals requiring a high level of behavioral support.
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office products and be able to work with a variety of computer system.
  • This position requires driving personal or company vehicle. Transports individuals to doctor’s appointments, community activities, shopping, etc.
  • Must have reliable vehicle and maintain current driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Must complete and maintain all required trainings/certifications.
  • Must maintain confidential information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of previous leadership or consulting experience working with individuals with disabilities or individuals with high-level behavioral support needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides individualized behavioral treatment to individuals who have complex behavioral support needs under the direct supervision of a Crisis Services Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Oversees and provides documentation for individuals served, including tracking behavior and fidelity of implementation.
  • Organizes and reports data related to individual plans. Ensures that documentation and homes meet all agency guidelines, funder requirements, and accreditation standards.
  • Provides support and coaching to Crisis Services Specialists in the delivery of positive behavioral supports, including universal supports and specific behavioral supports.
  • Works with BCBA, RN, supervisors, and managers to ensure team members are prepared for emergency placements and transitions into Individualized Supported Living (ISLs). Communicates proactively to organizational staff regarding transitions, and communicates to support team members regarding observations and interventions provided. Ensures that homes provide a healthy and safe living environment for individuals served.
  • Attends meetings, in-services and opportunities for on-going education. Facilitates and participates in regular staff meetings and reviews any issues and training needs.
  • Attends ISP meetings and provides input into planning process. Prepares for and attends service coordinator visits.
  • Works as fill-in direct care staff as needed.
