About The Position

The Department of Corrections, Division of Institutions is recruiting for a Criminal Justice Technician 1 at the Goose Creek Correctional Center (GCCC) in Mackenzie Point, Alaska. The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Receiving and processing grievances strictly by following criteria set by the State of Alaska and facility policies. Answering inmate questions, reviewing inmate complaints and grievances regarding all PREA issues. Ensuring informational pamphlets, contact phone numbers and general information is provided to the entire inmate population.
