Requirements

Prior teaching experience at the college or university level.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver lectures and coursework on various criminal justice topics.
Design, develop, implement, and revise courses, curricula, and academic programs that support program objectives that align with departmental, college, and university goals.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the field of criminal justice.
Prepare and grade assignments, exams, and projects.
Provide mentorship and academic advising to students.
Facilitate classroom discussions and encourage student participation.
Conduct and publish research in the field of criminal justice.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of the educational program.
Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and professional development activities (university, college and departmental).
Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
