About The Position

The Window Crib Attendant is responsible for providing front-line support at the warehouse window by responding to incoming calls, coordinating urgent material needs, and serving as the primary customer interface for production, maintenance, and other internal departments. This role ensures accurate handling of material movements and timely communication to support safe, efficient operations.

Requirements

• Basic math, computer, and communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insured by the employer’s insurance carrier.
• Trained to drive forklift.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Ability to multitask in high pace environment.
• Must have basic computer skills, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively, written and oral.
• Prepares and maintains required documentation from day-to-day operations.

Nice To Haves

• MRO/warehousing and inventory knowledge a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer warehouse phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate area.
• Run and track “code red” urgent material requests.
• Enter and update cycle count information in the system.
• Process material returns and complete required system transactions.
• Issue parts and assist internal customers at the window.
• Record and maintain basic logs for window activity and counts.
• Communicate issues or shortages to warehouse and production teams.
• Follow safety, housekeeping, and 5S expectations at the window.
• Assist with other crib or window tasks as needed.
