About The Position

The Crib Attendant dispenses production materials to manufacturing, maintains transaction logs, and pre-stages production materials. The role receives, verifies, organizes, and replenishes tools, equipment, and inventory while tracking material costs to predefined Cost Centers. It also supports safety auditing, incident reviews, problem analysis, corrective-action closure, and communication of safety information. The position requires basic computer skills and organizational, flexible, and self-management abilities.

Requirements

• At least 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Flexible, versatile, and good organizational and self-management skills.
• Basic computer skills, including developing spreadsheets and word documents and using a browser.

Responsibilities

• Dispense production materials to manufacturing and maintain a transaction log.
• Pre-stage production material and maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Verify packing slips and sign off according to procedures.
• Perform daily cycle counts and flag part numbers that are at minimum stock levels.
• Mark and identify tools and equipment.
• Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools and equipment, and requisition stock to replenish inventory.
• Track material costs to predefined Cost Centers.
• Conduct safety audits and track audit closure.
• Participate in incident reviews, write or assist with problem analysis reports, and support corrective-action closure.
• Communicate safety information as needed and participate in safety meetings and activities.
• Distribute incoming packages as needed.
