About The Position

AMC Crew members help create a welcoming, memorable movie-going experience. Crew members rotate through cross-trained roles that include greeting guests, selling concessions, checking tickets, operating the register, and keeping theatre spaces clean. The position involves serving guests, preparing food, monitoring auditoriums, supporting the crew, and assisting with opening and closing duties. AMC provides training and opportunities to learn new skills and grow a career. The role requires evening, weekend, and occasional holiday availability in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 14 years of age.
• No prior experience is necessary.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Willing to complete required training and certifications provided by AMC.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in movies and a passion for creating a positive guest experience.
• Able to stand, walk, lift, twist, and bend frequently, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it up to 90 feet, or deposit it into a dumpster or trash compactor.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and create a welcoming experience, listen actively, and communicate clearly when assisting with guest concerns.
• Use AMC’s POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Use suggestive selling, upselling, and merchandising techniques, including encouraging loyalty card sign-ups.
• Prepare food safely and efficiently.
• Keep theatres, lobbies, and restrooms clean and welcoming.
• Follow instructions for the safe use of chemicals and cleaning materials.
• Check tickets and direct guests to their auditoriums.
• Help enforce the movie rating system respectfully and clearly.
• Monitor auditoriums for picture and sound quality, lighting, audience behavior, and potential piracy.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Support fellow crew members as needed.
• Help create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected.
• Follow AMC Wardrobe 101 Standards, including required clothing and footwear, and any items required by local regulations.
• Maintain a professional and positive demeanor.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
