About The Position

As an AMC Crew member, you help create a memorable guest experience by welcoming guests, selling concessions, checking tickets, keeping the theatre clean, and operating the register. Crew members rotate through roles and receive cross-training to build skills and support the team. The position involves working in a fast-paced movie theatre environment and maintaining a friendly, professional, and inclusive atmosphere.

The compensation range is $10 to $10.50 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and business needs. No prior experience is necessary; AMC provides training and required certifications.

Requirements

• Must be at least 14 years of age.
• No prior experience is necessary.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Willing to complete required training and certifications provided by AMC.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in movies and passion for creating a positive guest experience.
• Able to frequently stand, walk, lift, twist, and bend, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it up to 90 feet, or deposit it into a dumpster or trash compactor.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and communicate clearly, including when responding to guest concerns.
• Use AMC’s POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Use suggestive selling, upselling, and merchandising to support the guest experience and loyalty card sign-ups.
• Prepare food items safely and efficiently.
• Keep theatres, lobbies, and restrooms clean and welcoming.
• Follow instructions for safe use of chemicals and cleaning materials.
• Check tickets and direct guests to their auditoriums.
• Enforce the movie rating system respectfully and clearly.
• Monitor auditoriums for picture and sound quality, lighting, audience behavior, and potential piracy.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Support fellow crew members as needed.
• Help create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected.
• Follow AMC Wardrobe 101 Standards, including required footwear and clothing, and comply with applicable local regulations.
• Maintain a professional and positive demeanor and follow company policies and procedures.
