About The Position

AMC Crew members help create a welcoming, memorable guest experience at AMC theatres. Crew members rotate through a variety of responsibilities, including greeting guests, selling concessions, checking tickets, maintaining cleanliness, and handling register transactions. AMC provides cross-training so team members can develop skills and contribute in different roles. The position involves working in a fast-paced theatre environment and supporting guests and fellow crew members. Crew members are expected to follow AMC policies and procedures, maintain a professional and positive demeanor, and help foster an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected. Evening, weekend, and occasional holiday availability is required. The role requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it up to 90 feet, or deposit it into a dumpster or trash compactor.

Requirements

Must be at least 14 years of age.
No prior experience is necessary.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
Must be reliable and arrive on time.
Must be willing to complete required training and certifications provided by AMC.
Friendly, outgoing personality and an interest in working with people.
Ability and readiness to work in a fast-paced environment.
A love for movies and a passion for creating a great guest experience.
Ability to frequently stand, walk, lift, twist, and bend, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and create memorable experiences by listening actively and communicating clearly, including when addressing guest concerns.
Use AMC’s POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Use suggestive selling, upselling, and merchandising to enhance guest experience and encourage loyalty card sign-ups.
Prepare food items safely and efficiently.
Keep theatres, lobbies, and restrooms clean and welcoming.
Follow instructions for the safe use of chemicals and cleaning materials.
Check tickets and direct guests to their auditoriums.
Help enforce the movie rating system respectfully and clearly.
Monitor auditoriums for picture and sound quality, lighting, audience behavior, and potential piracy.
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Support fellow crew members as needed.
Help create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected.
Follow AMC Wardrobe 101 Standards, including wearing black non-slip shoes, black pants, an AMC-provided shirt where applicable, and items required by local regulations.
Maintain a professional and positive demeanor.
Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.
