About The Position

As an AMC Crew member, you help create a welcoming, memorable guest experience at the theatre. Crew members rotate through cross-trained roles that include welcoming guests, selling concessions, checking tickets, operating the register, preparing food, and keeping theatre spaces clean. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, supporting fellow crew members, and helping ensure guests enjoy their visit. Crew members are expected to follow AMC policies and procedures, maintain a positive and professional demeanor, help create an inclusive environment, and comply with AMC wardrobe standards. The position requires evening, weekend, and occasional holiday availability. AMC provides required training and certifications. No prior experience is necessary.

Requirements

Must be at least 14 years of age.
No prior experience is necessary.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
Must be reliable and arrive on time.
Must be willing to complete required training and certifications provided by AMC.
Friendly, outgoing personality and interest in working with people.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in movies and creating a positive experience for guests.
Ability to stand, walk, lift, twist, and bend frequently, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it up to 90 feet, or deposit it into a dumpster or trash compactor.

Responsibilities

Greet guests, listen to concerns, and communicate clearly to create a positive guest experience.
Use AMC’s POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Use suggestive selling, upselling, and merchandising techniques to support guest experience and loyalty card sign-ups.
Prepare food safely and efficiently.
Keep theatres, lobbies, and restrooms clean and welcoming.
Follow instructions for the safe use of chemicals and cleaning materials.
Check tickets and direct guests to their auditoriums.
Help enforce the movie rating system respectfully and clearly.
Monitor auditoriums for picture and sound quality, lighting, audience behavior, and potential piracy.
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Support fellow crew members as needed.
Help create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected.
Follow AMC Wardrobe 101 Standards, including required clothing and footwear.
Maintain a professional and positive demeanor.
Follow all Company Policies and Procedures.
