About The Position

Woodlawns Landscape is seeking motivated Crew Members to join our crew and contribute to our mission of providing top-notch service. As a Crew Member, you'll contribute directly to the visual appeal and health of diverse landscapes. Your expertise will be applied to maintaining lawns and gardens, ensuring each area reflects our high standards. You'll also play a crucial role in seasonal pruning, shaping and enhancing the beauty of our client's properties.

Requirements

At least 1 year of proven work experience as a Landscaper or similar role.
Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers and hedge trimmers.
Landscaping is a physically demanding job - expect to lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to oversee several projects at a time.

Nice To Haves

Specific experience in enhancement projects is a plus.
Knowledge of plant identification and proper planting techniques.
Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
Understanding of hardscaping principles and techniques.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Install of plant material like planting trees, shrubs, flowers.
Bed preparation and maintenance like weeding, edging, mulching, and fertilizing.
Assist with the construction of patios, and other hardscape features using various materials such as pavers, stone, and concrete.
Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
Collaborate effectively with other crew members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.
Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
