About The Position
Join our team as an Irrigation Crew Member and or Driver and play a vital role in servicing our commercial, private, and public clients across Florida. You'll provide essential irrigation labor support and safely operate equipment to ensure efficient job site operations. This role combines hands-on landscaping work with core irrigation installation and maintenance responsibilities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6+ months of irrigation experience.
- Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in Florida's climate.
- Dependable and team oriented.
- Familiarity with landscaping equipment and tools.
- Strong knowledge of safety practices for landscaping and driving.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work outdoors.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours.
- For drivers, valid U.S. Driver's license and prior 3 years of clean driving history within the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Proven landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install irrigation systems, including pipe, joints, heads, and wire.
- Dig holes and trenches and backfill for drainage and irrigation installations.
- Haul and install topsoil, greens mix, gravel, sand, grass seed, and sod.
- Perform planting, mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, and general garden maintenance.
- Use hand tools (rakes, shovels, picks, saws, wheelbarrows, axes) as required.
- Follow Crew Leader instructions for high-quality workmanship.
- Safely operate landscaping equipment (lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.,)
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance checks and report issues.
- Prepare and clean job sites, removing debris and waste.
- Receive and verify shipments to job sites.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use required PPE.
- Follow OSHA rules.
- Provide professional customer service on-site.
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
- Assist in training new team members.
