About The Position

Join Vivo Commercial Landscape as a Crew Member – Landscape Enhancement (Construction) and help transform and improve the outdoor spaces our clients rely on every day. This is an entry-level field opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, being outdoors, and learning practical landscaping skills as part of a team. You will work alongside experienced crew members and leaders while building your skills in landscape installation, enhancement, irrigation support, and site care.

Requirements

Dependable, ready to learn, and comfortable doing physical work outdoors.
Able to understand and follow work and safety directions in English or Spanish.
Comfortable performing physical outdoor work, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, and gripping.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and use safe lifting practices for heavier materials.
Willing and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while using required PPE.
Reliable, punctual, team-oriented, and receptive to coaching and feedback.
Must be able to use a tablet or smartphone with ease, for document review, time clock punches, etc.

Nice To Haves

Previous landscaping experience is helpful, but it is not required.
Entry-level candidates are welcome; though landscaping or outdoor labor experience is strongly preferred.
A valid CA driver's license is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Install and enhance landscapes at commercial client properties.
Prepare work areas, remove debris, and organize materials for installation projects.
Assist with planting trees and plants, trenching, irrigation support, and general groundskeeping.
Load, unload, move, and stage plants, materials, tools, and equipment for daily work.
Use basic hand tools and small power equipment safely, with opportunities to learn additional equipment as you are trained.
Work with your crew to complete quality work safely, efficiently, and professionally.
