Landscape - Crew Member (Landscape Construction)
About The Position
Join Vivo Commercial Landscape as a Crew Member – Landscape Enhancement (Construction) and help transform and improve the outdoor spaces our clients rely on every day. This is an entry-level field opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, being outdoors, and learning practical landscaping skills as part of a team. You will work alongside experienced crew members and leaders while building your skills in landscape installation, enhancement, irrigation support, and site care. • Help install and enhance landscapes at commercial client properties. • Prepare work areas, remove debris, and organize materials for installation projects. • Assist with planting trees and plants, trenching, irrigation support, and general groundskeeping. • Load, unload, move, and stage plants, materials, tools, and equipment for daily work. • Use basic hand tools and small power equipment safely, with opportunities to learn additional equipment as you are trained. • Work with your crew to complete quality work safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Requirements
- Entry-level candidates are welcome; though landscaping or outdoor labor experience is strongly preferred.
- Able to understand and follow work and safety directions in English or Spanish.
- Comfortable performing physical outdoor work, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, and gripping.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and use safe lifting practices for heavier materials.
- Willing and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while using required PPE.
- Reliable, punctual, team-oriented, and receptive to coaching and feedback.
- A valid CA driver's license is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to use a tablet or smartphone with ease, for document review, time clock punches, etc.
Nice To Haves
- Previous landscaping experience is helpful, but it is not required - we are looking for people with a strong work ethic and a willingness to develop their skills.
