About The Position

JMT Landscape Group LLC is seeking an experienced Crew Foreman to lead a crew of 3 - 4 employees constructing high-quality outdoor environments for multi-family, senior living, university, and mixed-use developments. This is more than a landscaping position. We build complete outdoor amenity spaces including retaining walls, unit pavers, playgrounds, dog parks, fire features, rooftop patios, natural stonework, fencing, site furnishings, irrigation systems, and custom outdoor living spaces. The Crew Foreman is responsible for leading daily field operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, productivity, and professionalism. You will lead a crew of 3 - 4 employees, coordinate daily work activities, communicate with Project Managers and Superintendents, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plan.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of commercial construction experience.
  • Previous experience leading construction crews.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience using construction management software for daily logs, crew timekeeping, and project documentation (Contractor Foreman, Procore, or similar).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
  • Forklift certification or operating experience preferred.
  • Skid Steer operating experience preferred.
  • Equipment operation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a crew of 3 - 4 employees.
  • Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and layout drawings.
  • Plan daily work activities and assign crew responsibilities.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and promote a safety-first culture.
  • Complete digital daily logs, crew time tracking, and production reports using company software.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain project quality while meeting production schedules.
  • Communicate daily with Project Managers regarding progress, manpower, scheduling, and jobsite needs.
  • Train and mentor crew members while promoting teamwork and accountability.
  • Operate construction equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
