Crestron Technician - Washington DC
About The Position
This is a short-term (3-month) contract position for a Crestron Technician in Washington DC. The role involves the installation and connection of new equipment, removal of old equipment, and replacement of existing wiring infrastructure. The technician will be responsible for installing and updating technology related to Crestron Flex Videobar 70 replacements and auxiliary parts, including specific TV models, mounting hardware, cables, and Crestron scheduling touchscreens and occupancy sensors. A strong understanding of AVIXA industry standard quality assurance for wiring, rack assembly, cable, and power management is required.
Requirements
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or CTS-Installation certification
- Crestron Digital Media Networking Certification (DM-NVX-N)
- Crestron Digital Media Networking Certification (CNS-I)
- Crestron Master Programmer - minimum gold level (Diamond preferred)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience providing support for government networks
Responsibilities
- Installation and connections of new equipment
- Removal of old equipment from workspaces, including packaging for shipment
- Replacing existing wiring infrastructure and identified hardware
- Install and updating the technology of Crestron Flex Videobar 70 replacement and auxiliary parts
- Adhering to AVIXA industry standard quality assurance standards for wiring, rack assembly, cable, and power management
