Creep Feed Machine Operator

About The Position
This position involves operating a creep feed grinding machine to grind open end wrench surfaces according to print specifications. The role requires loading and unloading parts to a fixture, changing and dressing grinding wheels, maintaining crush rolls, balancing wheels, and making setups and changes. Additionally, the operator will originate CNC programs.
Requirements
- Ability to use advanced shop mathematics
- Ability to work with complicated, involved drawings, specifications and formulas
- Ability to use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments
- Broad knowledge in the application techniques of a recognized trade or craft
