About The Position

The Creeler is primarily responsible for creeling assigned yarns on correct knitting machines in an efficient and safe manner. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a commitment to safety and company values. The position is on the C Shift.

Requirements

• Ability to read and verify yarns printed on knitting tickets with Knitter and Knitting Mechanic.
• Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong team player.
• Commitment to company values.

Nice To Haves

• Related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creel twelve (12) machines total.
• Keep yarn from being damaged while transferring from yarn boxes to yarn pin trucks.
• Stack yarn on yarn pin trucks only one layer above top row of pins.
• Remove empty cones and break down yarn boxes.
• Follow all safety procedures/policies and advise management of any unsafe conditions.
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
