Credit Union Teller
About The Position
Pacific NW Federal Credit Union is a not‑for‑profit, full‑service financial institution with three branches in Portland, Vancouver, and Hood River. Our mission is simple: be our members' financial partner for life. We give back through financial literacy programs and community education. As a smaller credit union, we're able to personalize the member experience-and that's why many of our members have been with us for generations. This role will be based at our new Troutdale branch once it opens later this year. Prior to the Troutdale opening, training and onboarding will take place at our existing branch location in Portland, OR.
Requirements
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in banking, cash handling, or customer service
- Strong attention to detail with basic math and computer skills
- Friendly, professional communication and a member‑service mindset
- Reliability, accuracy, and the ability to follow procedures
- A positive, team‑oriented attitude
Responsibilities
- Welcome members and process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other transactions
- Provide accurate information about Credit Union products and services
- Balance your cash drawer and transactions daily
- Identify opportunities to refer or cross‑sell products as appropriate
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure accurate documentation
