About The Position

Lenders One is hiring a Credit Service Representative for a customer-centric, high-impact, fast-paced role. This position plays a critical role in supporting the mortgage underwriting lifecycle by investigating, verifying, and analyzing credit information that directly supports loan decisioning. The Credit Service Representative will partner closely with production teams, deliver fast and accurate credit report supplements, and serve as a trusted customer-facing expert throughout the credit verification process. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment, communicates with clarity and empathy, and enjoys solving customer problems with precision. This position is only considering applicants currently residing in the United States.

Requirements

Experience in the financial services or mortgage services industry (required)
Strong understanding of credit services, reports, and regulatory considerations
Customer service experience in a professional environment
Ability to interpret complex credit scenarios (foreclosure, bankruptcy, etc.)
Excellent communication, decision-making, persuasion, and problem-resolution skills
Comfort working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, team-based environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Willingness to work the PST time zone

Responsibilities

Customer-centric inbound and outbound communication that meets company quality standards
Investigation and verification of credit, employment, and financial information supporting mortgage underwriting
Management of incoming and pending supplement requests with attention to detail and turnaround time
Interpretation and review of credit reports, including complex scenarios such as bankruptcy or foreclosure
Delivery of timely, accurate information to customers and internal teams
Compliance with all Federal and State regulations, privacy standards, and internal procedures
Accurate documentation and adherence to training manuals, workflows, and policy guidelines
Effective routing of inquiries and close partnership with other internal departments
Ensuring supplements are processed quickly and accurately—supporting production goals for volume, turn-time, and quality.
Prioritizing supplement requests
Resolving credit or documentation issues
Maintaining accuracy and service levels in a call-center environment
Ensuring customers receive consistent, compliant, high-quality communication
