About The Position

The Credit and Collections Analyst (A/R) will complete activities within the Credit and Collections department across assigned locations. This includes implementing company policies and procedures related to credit and collection activities, ensuring effective handling of delinquent accounts, and investigating the credit risks of customers and suppliers. This is an onsite role. The analyst is responsible for the implementation and adherence to company credit/collection policies, practices, and procedures across one or multiple geographic areas. They will recommend and/or approve decisions regarding adjustments to customer accounts and referral of overdue accounts for legal action. The role involves coordinating area collection decisions with management teams and sales departments, managing delinquent customer receivables, negotiating special customer payment plans, and participating in the development of financial packages. The analyst will monitor credit activity, including monthly review of large accounts, location compliance with credit policies and procedures, and lien laws and sales tax laws. They will work closely with Credit Management and field leadership to resolve difficult collection cases.

Requirements

  • At least two (2) years of credit/collections experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
