Credit Analyst
About The Position
Community First Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst to help make informed lending decisions and support businesses and agricultural operations in its communities. This opportunity is suitable for a recent college graduate or someone looking to apply a degree in a new direction. Banking experience is not required; the bank will help the successful candidate develop banking knowledge and credit analysis skills. The role provides exposure to commercial and agricultural lending, specialized lending programs, and complex credit relationships, with opportunities to work alongside experienced lenders and credit professionals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, agricultural business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with others.
- Genuine desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow to evaluate lending opportunities.
- Identify financial trends, assess risks, and translate complex information into meaningful insights.
- Prepare credit presentations and recommendations to support sound lending decisions.
- Monitor loan portfolios and evaluate borrower performance in collaboration with lenders and credit professionals.
