Credit Analyst - Commercial Real Estate
About The Position
This role involves performing comprehensive analysis on Commercial Real Estate properties, including rent rolls, leasing activity, and operating performance (both historical and projected). The analyst will research and present information on Commercial Real Estate Markets, Comparable Properties, Public Real Estate Records, and public information on Business Entities and Individuals. A key part of the role is assessing the financial condition of business entities and individuals to determine their ability to service debt and/or pay rent. The position also supports Loan Officers in completing reports for Senior Management and handles various administrative tasks such as completing forms for external reports and contacting bank customers for information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Professional experience with a financial institution in Commercial Real Estate analysis for at least 3 years
- Experience in written analysis on Commercial Real Estate properties, with a focus on operating performance and rent rolls
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities
- Producing analysis on Commercial Real Estate properties including: rent rolls, leasing activity, and operating performance (historical and projections)
- Research and present information on the following areas: Commercial Real Estate Markets, Comparable Properties, Public Real Estate Records, and Public information on Business Entities and Individual.
- Perform analysis of business entities and individuals to assess their financial condition with a focus on their ability to service their debt and/or pay rent
- Assisting Loan Officers in completing reports used by Senior Management in the monitoring and decision making processes
- Completing various forms and reports to request external reports (appraisals, environmental assessments) and address internal issues
- Contacting bank customers to gather information and/or follow-up on required items
- Various special projects from Loan Officers and Senior Management
