About The Position
Is responsible for all aspects of credentialing and recredentialing activities for physicians requesting membership and medical staff privileges at Albert Einstein Medical Center, in accordance with Policies and Procedures to assure the credentialing program’s integrity and expectation as defined in the Bylaws and Rules/Regulations of the Medical Staff. Also is responsible for privileging of adjunct professionals.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in data entry, database, word processing and spread sheet applications.
Nice To Haves
- Some college or college graduate.
- Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred by the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS).
