About The Position
Tri-Cities Community Health (TCCH) is seeking a passionate and driven Credentialing Specialist to join their team at the Pasco administrative building. This role is crucial for ensuring that all providers at TCCH are qualified, credentialed, and privileged to provide exceptional care to the community. TCCH, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) founded in 1981, is dedicated to providing quality, accessible healthcare to underserved populations in Pasco, Kennewick, Richland, and surrounding areas. Requirements
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage multiple responsibilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Nice To Haves
- Two years of relevant credentialing experience
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)
Responsibilities
- Ensure credentialed, appointed, and privileged statuses for all providers within the organization, between health plans and hospitals
- Maintain up-to-date data for each provider in credentialing databases and online systems
- Ensure timely renewal of licenses and certifications
- Initiate and maintain facility or location credentialing for all in-scope facilities
- Carry out all other duties as assigned
