Liberty Resources is seeking applicants for the position of Credentialing Coordinator for Liberty Resources in our Syracuse, NY location. The Revenue Cycle Credentialing Coordinator will work with third party payers, all levels of leadership, operational, and Revenue Cycle staff to provide oversight and completion of all credentialing activities for the agency.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage credentialing and re-credentialing of all providers and programs.
  • Ability to work with third party payers to ensure credentialing forms are up to date, complete, and processed.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and complete organized files for each provider, including managing expiration dates.
  • Ability to communicate regularly with leadership, program leaders, and administrative staff.
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with Operational departments for new hires, onboarding, and recertifications.
  • Ability to create, organize, maintain, and verify files on each provider.
  • Ability to process initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications.
  • Ability to populate and maintain credentialing software, run reports, and maximize system efficiency.
  • Ability to assist with credentialing inquiries or discrepancies.
  • Ability to maintain an effective organizational system for provider records.
  • Ability to stay current on third party payer provider credentialing processes and policies.
  • Ability to document credentialing policies and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain logs and records of expiring credentialing data.
  • Ability to serve as a liaison between providers, operations, HR, administration, and third party payers.
  • Ability to communicate findings on credentialing statuses, barriers, and solutions to leadership.
  • Ability to stay current on all payer credentialing updates and implement them.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a representative for the Revenue Cycle Department and agency on managing credentialing and re-credentialing of all providers and programs.
  • Routinely works with third party payers to ensure all credentialing forms are up to date, complete, and processed to ensure revenue is maximized by the ability to bill for all applicable providers within the agency.
  • Maintains accurate and complete organized files for each provider including managing expiration dates to ensure compliance and reduce any gaps in billable services.
  • Communicates regularly with the Revenue Cycle Leadership Team, program leaders and other administrative staff to ensure all credentialing tasks are managed, barriers are identified, and solutions are developed.
  • Communicates and coordinates with Operational departments for new hires, onboarding information needed, recertifications, etc.
  • Responsible to create, organize, maintain, and verify files on each provider within the agency to ensure accuracy, compliance, and tracking.
  • Responsible to process initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications for all third party payers.
  • Responsible to populate and maintain credentialing software with all relevant data, run timely reports, and maximize system efficiency for tracking, applications, etc.
  • Assists the agency with any and all credentialing inquiries or discrepancies.
  • Responsible to maintain an effective organizational system for current and previous providers to ensure accurate records are maintained.
  • Responsible to stay current on third party payer provider credentialing processes and policies.
  • Assists with documentation of the credentialing policies and procedures to ensure they accurately reflect the tasks and workflows in place.
  • Maintains logs and records of applicable expiring credentialing data to ensure there’s no gap in the ability to bill and receive reimbursement for services.
  • Serves as a liaison between the providers, operations, human resources, administration, and the third party payers to ensure applications are properly completed and submitted.
  • Communicates findings regularly to Revenue Cycle Team Leadership on statuses, barriers, and solutions within the credentialing process.
  • Responsible for keeping current on all payer credentialing updates and ensuring these updates are implemented and managed regularly.
