About The Position

The purpose of this job is to serve our members, customers, and co-workers in a timely fashion. The Credentialing Coordinator ensures the integrity and growth of ACHE’s Fellow credential. This role will provide seamless administrative support and personalized customer service around the credential. This position supports ACHE’s mission by managing the end-to-end administration of the FACHE credentialing process. This position serves as the primary liaison for members advancing to Fellow, managing application reviews, recertifications, and delivery logistics to ensure a seamless experience for senior healthcare leaders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in customer service, association management, or related role, preferably with certification or credentialing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Teams.
  • Must be well-organized and detail-oriented; able to work independently to resolve complex, non-routine issues situations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate knowledge and concepts clearly and diplomatically, as well as tailor communications to a variety of stakeholders and situations.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Must have regular and predictable attendance.
  • Displays a strong team and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to thrive in a member-centric environment, demonstrating empathy and professional diplomacy in interactions.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration or a related field preferred.
  • Salesforce, or other association management software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate new Fellow applications for adherence to ACHE criteria, verifying all documentation and proactively guiding candidates to completion.
  • Process all references and ensure accuracy of information provided.
  • Coordinate with external testing vendor(s) to facilitate a seamless examination experience for candidates.
  • Monitor testing vendor reports to ensure data integrity and track candidate progress.
  • Coordinate all correspondence to candidates regarding testing approvals, extensions, and other complex exceptions.
  • Enter candidate test scores in Salesforce in a timely manner.
  • Create reports of candidates for marketing as needed.
  • Meet with new candidates requesting review of their materials before application submission.
  • Review all incoming recertification applications and confirm all criteria are met; process applications and follow up with candidates for missing documentation as needed.
  • Manage all correspondence with Fellows regarding exception requests and respond in a timely manner.
  • Proactively track Regents and Governors regarding recertification deadlines and continuing education requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Volunteer Relations team to communicate relevant information.
  • Create reports of recertifying classes for marketing as needed.
  • Assist with coordinating the Convocation event, including the gowning process, supply ordering, packing, and day-of event logistics.
  • Coordinate scheduling of meetings as needed.
  • Process expense reports for staff and volunteer.
  • Process payments for invoices from vendors.
