About The Position

The Credentialed Trainer is responsible for conducting end-user training for the Epic Electronic Health Record across The Guthrie Clinic. This role involves in-classroom training on Epic functionality, providing go-live and post-go-live support to units, departments, and practices. A key responsibility is to collaborate with Principal Trainers, the Training Manager, and the IT Team in executing classroom training for EHR end-users.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills with some exposure to healthcare information systems.
• Demonstrated organizational, writing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Associates Degree (or High school diploma or GED with 2 years of healthcare and/or training related experience).

Nice To Haves

• Previous training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attain Epic credentialing for assigned applications to teach end-users.
• Deliver classroom instruction for assigned Epic applications.
• Ensure training rooms, computer workstations, devices, and materials are ready for class.
• Assess curriculum effectiveness to identify and contribute to quality improvements.
• Provide "Go Live" support and serve as a training resource to assigned departments/clinics.
• Collaborate with the LMS System for accurate attendance and reporting.
• Perform related duties as required.
• Travel for this position is sometimes required.
• Participation in community and employee engagement activities is required.
