The Credential Services Office (CSO) is the centralized point of contact for all students wishing to enter the teaching profession. The office is responsible for collecting and processing program admissions documents for students applying to enter the programs. The office provides guidance and counsel to students who seek to earn both basic credentials and advanced credentials. The office is responsible for monitoring progress toward the desired credential or certificate as well as reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, and processing applications for credentials upon completion of the program(s). The office is responsible for insuring that educator candidates meet all standards and processes required by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. The office is the primary source on campus for faculty, staff, and students who seek information regarding the credentialing process and for disseminating new standards and practices approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
