About The Position

THE·TEAM is hiring a Creative Technologist for its social creative team supporting Gemini social and influencer marketing. The role works at the intersection of design, engineering, culture, and emerging AI, turning creative concepts into interactive prototypes, working code, and social-first experiences. The successful candidate will collaborate across creative and marketing teams, help creators understand and use Gemini capabilities, and connect internal ideas with developer and creator communities. This is a temporary position through the end of 2026, with an option to renew at the end of the calendar year.

Requirements

Fluency in one or more general-purpose programming languages: Python, JavaScript, Go, Java, Ruby, or PHP.
Hands-on experience building with the Google Gemini app, Antigravity, the Gemini API, and Google AI Studio, including prompt engineering and LLM-based application development.
Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and generative tools, and how to apply them in creative and social contexts.
Experience building web and interactive experiences with three.js, WebGL, or comparable technologies.
Comfort working within Google Cloud Platform.
Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Experience integrating APIs, including connecting services, webhooks, and third-party platforms.
Comfort presenting at and assisting with workshops at creator-focused events, running workshops, writing technical content, or engaging developer and creator communities.
Resourcefulness under pressure, fluency in creative and technical language, and comfort working to ambitious timelines.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat Pro.
Experience or interest in hardware, interfaces, experimental UI, server-side development, and animation.
Background in copywriting, art direction, or filmmaking.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with strategists and creatives to develop ideas and rapidly build interactive prototypes, technical proofs of concept, and social-first experiments.
Assist with technical briefings for creator partners producing Gemini-powered content, explaining capabilities, workflows, and features.
Review creator partner concepts and content to identify feasible, high-impact use cases and support strong execution.
Explore and implement AI/ML advancements, particularly large language models, generative tools, and the Gemini API via Google AI Studio, to develop novel social experiences.
Monitor emerging technologies, social behaviors, and digital art, and translate them into creative ideas for Android and Google Play.
Work with Gemini Marketing to launch experiments and identify partners who can scale successful innovations.
Help teach, connect with, and evangelize possibilities in AI and social to developer and creator communities.
