About The Position

Gemtech is hiring an onsite, non-remote Creative Specialist in Maryville, Tennessee. The role produces creative assets for social media, email, websites, digital advertising, presentations, print collateral, and events. It includes planning and capturing product photography, lifestyle imagery, and event content, as well as shooting and editing product videos, interviews, event recaps, and short-form social content. The specialist handles production logistics, including shot lists, equipment preparation, lighting, audio, editing, and delivery of files. The position turns approved briefs into channel-ready creative, adapts existing work for different formats and placements, maintains brand consistency, and verifies product details with internal resources. It works with Digital and Media to clarify requirements, deadlines, and intended uses; maintains organized source files and final assets in a shared content library; and tracks assignments, communicates constraints, and flags competing deadlines. The role also captures content and supports activations at trade shows, dealer events, media experiences, and other field activities. Coordination with Smith & Wesson creative resources may be assigned, while most day-to-day work is produced independently. Duties may change or be supplemented according to business needs. Safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection are required on the manufacturing floor; additional PPE, including safety footwear, may be required for particular tasks or departments. The candidate must be comfortable around firearms.
