The Creative Specialist produces creative content and digital assets for Gemtech across social media, email, websites, digital advertising, presentations, print collateral, and events. The role plans and captures product photography, lifestyle imagery, and event content, and shoots and edits product videos, interviews, event recaps, and short-form social assets. It also handles practical production needs such as shot lists, equipment preparation, lighting, audio, editing, and file delivery. The specialist turns approved briefs into channel-ready concepts and finished assets, adapts creative into different formats and placements, maintains brand consistency, and verifies product details with internal resources. The role collaborates with Digital and Media on asset requirements, deadlines, and intended uses; organizes source files and final versions in a shared content library; and tracks assignments, constraints, and competing deadlines. The specialist also captures content and supports activations at trade shows, dealer events, media experiences, and other field activities. Coordination with Smith & Wesson creative resources may be assigned, while most day-to-day work is produced independently. This position is onsite and non-remote in Maryville, Tennessee. The work takes place in a normal office environment and may also involve the Smith & Wesson manufacturing facility, where employees can encounter manufacturing noise, chemicals, dust, temperature extremes, moving machinery, confined spaces, vibrations, odors, and mechanical hazards. Safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection are required on the manufacturing floor; additional PPE, including safety footwear, may be required for particular tasks or areas.
