About The Position

Surface Experts of San Francisco North is hiring a tech to focus on our growing low-impact bathtub and sink refinishing business, in addition to learning many of our spot repair techniques to support the broader business. We do NOT spray refinishing glaze. Our roll-on method minimizes the impact to the unit, resident and the technician. Responsibilities include cleaning and preparing tubs (cleaning, removing old caulking, sanding away old glaze, masking) applying glaze and re-caulking, and leaving the space better than we found it. Most tubs take between and 2 and 3 hours to complete. Surface Experts has built a business around repairing small spot damage on interior surfaces, such as countertops, appliances, tubs, floors, glass cooktops, and more. Our unique approach provides a huge benefit to property managers, hotels, builders, or anyone looking to avoid costly and time consuming replacements.

Requirements

Ability to work independently - driving to job locations, meeting with property maintenance teams, and performing work.
Some experience in services/trades
Strong English language speaker
Comfortable wearing a face respirator for extended periods
Attention to detail and service minded
Licensed to operate a passenger car and have a clean driving record
Ability to lift 30 pounds, climb stairs, and kneel.

Nice To Haves

Experience with tub reglazing or installation.
Experience working in facilities maintenance.
