About The Position

Kitsch is a certified female- and minority-owned global beauty brand with products in over 32,000 retailers across 92 countries. They make essentials that make people feel exceptional. The Creative Project Manager will join the Product Development team, reporting to the VP of Product & Assortment Strategy. This is a full-time contractor role, US-based and remote, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST. The role serves as the link between Creative and Product Development, owning the artwork and photography workflow from brief to final file, and ensuring photo assets accurately reflect on-shelf products.

  • Proactive approach to project management, driving tasks forward without constant prompting.
  • Proficiency in using Asana as a primary project management tool.
  • Skill in building cross-departmental relationships.
  • Comfort and experience using AI tools for tasks such as drafting briefs, summarizing feedback, and creating templates.
  • A dedicated and responsible attitude towards project completion and error prevention.
  • A strong sense of ownership and pride in work, treating packaging errors as personal responsibilities to prevent.

Responsibilities

  • Review creative briefs to ensure they include all necessary information (images, copy, specs, dieline details) before work begins.
  • Manage the Creative team's priority queue, balancing requests from Product Development, Marketing, and other departments.
  • Track all packaging artwork projects from initiation to completion, ensuring forward momentum.
  • Act as a central point of communication, sharing updates and resolving confusion between teams to prevent delays.
  • Coordinate photography samples with the office manager to ensure timely availability for shoots.
  • Maintain accuracy and completeness of Asana for all active projects, building timelines aligned with Product Development schedules.
  • Identify and resolve workflow issues, proposing solutions to improve team efficiency.
  • Monitor photo assets for discrepancies with actual products (e.g., label changes, material swaps, formula updates) and manage the correction process from request to delivery.
