Creative Project Manager
About The Position
Pyramid Consulting is hiring a Creative Project Manager for an onsite role in San Francisco, California. This is a contract opportunity lasting 6+ months, with long-term potential, supporting a leading retail industry client. The role independently manages creative project intake, timelines, milestones, and deliverables across PR, social, and influencer initiatives. It coordinates cross-functional teams and agencies, incorporates channel partners into creative development, oversees creative workflows and approvals, manages production and asset requirements, and ensures timely delivery. The position also maintains project tracking tools and looks for opportunities to streamline workflows.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in project management, creative operations, or marketing production.
- Ability to independently manage cross-functional creative projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in retail, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
- Familiarity with PR, social, influencer marketing, and creative production workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own project intake, timelines, milestones, and deliverables across PR, social, and influencer initiatives.
- Align with Creative, Brand Marketing, PR, Social, Influencer, Merchandising, Production, and agency teams on briefs and execution needs.
- Engage channel partners early in creative development, including ideation and campaign planning.
- Oversee the development of channel-specific deliverables and track progress from planning through approvals.
- Partner with teams to manage shot lists, product information, and other production requirements.
- Lead project kickoffs and status meetings, keeping stakeholders informed and accountable.
- Anticipate risks, manage changing priorities, and coordinate final asset handoffs to ensure timely delivery.
- Keep project tracking tools current and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
