About The Position

Amplify’s creative team is a group of designers, artists, and storytellers. We sketch, we write, we push pixels, we also love paper. We live for the big ideas, and we sweat the details. We work on digital, print, environmental, interactive, and animation projects. We have a strong hands-on and highly collaborative approach to both product development and graphic design systems and ensure ideas are realized to the highest standards of execution. Artists and designers at Amplify create beautiful and meaningful experiences that delight our young learners and their teachers, inside and outside of the classroom. As a Producer supporting the Science K-8 product, you will partner with art leads and project coordinators to oversee the digital and print asset production pipeline. You will help with organizational logistics from assignment through delivery handoff. Together, you will achieve timely and high-quality art content for the Science program. A successful candidate will also have excellent communication and resolution skills, both verbal and written, with experience in managing several ongoing projects with various stakeholders. This position will require great attention to detail and an eye for effective design.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a producer or similar role with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple competing projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with design in education technology or a related field
  • Understanding of design, video, and project management software

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day tasks and deliverables to facilitate high volume of digital and print asset development and production
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams from writers to product managers to establish priorities, finalize design goals, unblock tasks, and articulate action plans
  • Partner with project coordinators and art leads to drive project schedules and production pipeline, keeping track of progress of deliverables against key milestones.
  • Understand workflows and dependencies of project components, and know the roles and responsibilities of the cross-functional teams involved.
  • Assist in facilitation of file handoffs to internal and external partners and maintain documentation and backlog
  • Attend relevant status meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items.
  • Make recommendations for process improvements where appropriate.
  • Assist the art content production team with documenting risks, issues, decisions, and change management.
