About The Position

Wizards of the Coast is seeking a Creative Manager for Magic: The Gathering to define and grow its Production Artist team. The team creates custom frames and specialty print files that bring creative ideas to life as collectible cards. The role leads and develops a team of creative production artists, supports effective collaboration across creative, game production, and game design teams, and helps translate product goals into clear creative direction and deliverables. It also contributes operational leadership by improving processes, documenting work, coordinating reviews, and developing repeatable workflows.

Requirements

At least 3 years of creative leadership experience across diverse skills in art and design.
Experience with licensed products, entertainment franchises, external creative collaborators, or brand extensions.
Strong communication skills and comfort giving and receiving feedback.
High attention to detail and highly developed organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Comfort using remote collaboration tools such as MS Teams, Smartsheet, and Miro.

Responsibilities

Lead a cohesive, high-functioning team of creative production artists by managing workloads, developing skills, monitoring resourcing, and fostering an inclusive culture of excellence.
Develop teamwork and integration among the creative team, game production, and game design.
Partner with cross-functional studio teams to turn product goals into clear vision, deliverables, and decisions.
