About The Position

Wizards of the Coast is seeking a Creative Manager to define and grow the Production Artist team supporting Magic: The Gathering. The team creates custom frames and specialty print files that bring creative ideas to life as collectible cards. The manager will lead and develop creative production artists, coordinate workloads and resourcing, and foster an inclusive culture of teamwork and excellence. They will also work across creative, game production, game design, and other studio teams to turn product goals into clear visions, deliverables, and decisions, while improving operational processes and workflows.

Requirements

• Experience with licensed products, entertainment franchises, external creative collaborators, or brand extensions.
• Strong communication skills and comfort giving and receiving feedback.
• High attention to detail and highly developed organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Comfort using remote collaboration tools such as MS Teams, Smartsheet, and Miro.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cohesive, high-functioning group of creative production artists.
• Manage workloads, develop team members’ skills, monitor resourcing, and encourage a culture of inclusivity and excellence.
• Build teamwork and integration between the creative team, game production, and game design.
• Partner with cross-functional studio teams to translate product goals into clear vision, deliverables, and decisions.
• Improve processes, create documentation, coordinate reviews, and build repeatable workflows.
