Requirements

  • Deep DTC creative leadership experience, having led brand and website creative at a DTC consumer brand.
  • Understanding of modern ecommerce design, customer psychology, and the synergy between brand and performance.
  • Strong taste and design judgment, with the ability to articulate why creative works or doesn't.
  • Hands-on creative leadership style, comfortable with reviewing, directing, and making creative decisions.
  • Experience in systems and operations thinking, including building or rebuilding how creative organizations function (prioritization, review, design systems, production workflows).
  • AI fluency at the architecture level, capable of designing AI-enabled workflows and adapting to evolving tooling.
  • Analytical mindset, focused on business outcomes and customer behavior.
  • Proven ability in cross-functional collaboration with Growth, Ecommerce, Brand, and Retention teams.
  • 7–10+ years of relevant experience in roles such as Creative Directors from DTC consumer brands, Brand design leaders from high-growth ecommerce companies, or Agency creative leaders with deep ecommerce and digital experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead brand creative across the portfolio, focusing on upleveling websites and brand visual identity systems to build brand trust and differentiation through visual storytelling.
  • Own creative direction for owned channels, including brand websites, email, and packaging.
  • Partner with Digital Product, Retention, Growth, and Brand teams to enhance the quality and consistency of customer-facing experiences.
  • Modernize creative workflows through AI-enabled systems and tooling.
  • Develop and maintain brand visual identity systems, including foundational visual language, brand standards, and design systems.
  • Provide visual design and storytelling for brand websites, translating brand identity into the site experience.
  • Oversee creative direction for lifecycle email and packaging design.
  • Improve creative production systems, including scoping, prioritization, review, and shipping of design and production work, aiming for increased throughput and quality consistency.
  • Architect AI-enabled creative workflows to enhance production speed, iteration quality, and operational leverage.
  • Level up a junior creative organization through stronger standards, clearer direction, and better accountability.
