About The Position

The Creative Designer will help shape Bridgewater’s visual identity and bring it to life across internal and external channels. This hands-on role has significant creative ownership and room to experiment, combining development of the visual design system with creative work built within it. The designer will partner closely with the Creative Director and the Head of External Communications and Affairs to create the tools, standards, systems, and assets that support the brand. The role includes evolving Bridgewater’s visual language; co-developing practical brand guidelines and scalable design architecture; and applying the brand system across touchpoints such as retail ads, recruiting materials, the website, and social media. The designer will produce distinctive work, respond and adapt to feedback, independently turn loose ideas and sketches into polished designs, identify opportunities to build reusable systems and templates, and collaborate with writers, investors, and other partners to translate sophisticated concepts into clear, memorable graphics. The anticipated onsite requirement is four days per week, primarily at Bridgewater’s New York City campus. A subset of teams, including Client Service, alternates between the New York City and Westport campuses on a hybrid schedule.
