Creative & Brand Manager

Trade Show Savvy LLCGrapevine, TX
Onsite

About The Position

We are growing. This is a single role with a single mission: own how Trade Show Savvy and Red Door Three show up in the world — for clients on the show floor and for the market at large. It is equal parts client-facing creative strategist and in-house brand and marketing director. If you have ever wanted a role where your ideas shape real environments and real campaigns, this is it. Trade Show Savvy is a Grapevine, TX-based company building the future of trade show exhibitor management. We combine a proprietary SaaS platform with full-service exhibit services and a national exhibit storage and logistics operation under our Red Door Three brand. We work with clients across industries to plan, design, manage, and execute their trade show programs end-to-end. Following our recent acquisition of Red Door Three, we are expanding our Grapevine commercial team to support continued growth. Trade Show Savvy is also the home of The Little Purple Book — a thought leadership content brand focused on trade show marketing strategy. We are intentionally small. We will stay intentionally small. We are building the kind of company we want to work in — flat, fast, and free of corporate theater. If that sounds like your kind of place, keep reading. We are looking for a Creative & Brand Manager who can move fluidly between two worlds: the client room and the content calendar. On the client side, you are the ideas person — the one who walks into a conversation, understands a brand's goals, and paints a picture of what their exhibit program could be. On the company side, you own our marketing — brand voice, content strategy, campaigns, social presence, and the visual identity of everything we put into the world. This is a senior, highly visible role that reports directly to the President. You will work closely with our operations team, our product team, and outside vendors to bring strategy to life. As a growing company, you will have the opportunity to build the marketing function the right way from the start.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in a creative, brand, or marketing role — ideally with significant exposure to the trade show, event, or experiential marketing industry
  • Think strategically and creatively — can write a brand positioning statement and sketch a booth concept in the same afternoon
  • Confident and compelling in client conversations — leads with ideas and earns trust quickly
  • Understand trade show logistics well enough to know what is actually buildable
  • Strong writer who can adapt voice across channels — from thought leadership posts to client emails to campaign copy
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple workstreams without losing detail
  • Thrives in a small-company environment where roles are fluid and priorities shift. Sees the lack of bureaucracy as a feature, not a problem. When something needs to get done outside their job description, their instinct is to solve it, not escalate it.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the Grapevine / DFW area
  • Comfortable with regular travel (estimated 25–35%)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary creative lead on client accounts — the person clients call when they want a fresh perspective on their program
  • Develop exhibit concepts, spatial narratives, and program strategies tailored to each client's brand, audience, and show objectives
  • Lead discovery conversations with new and existing clients to surface needs and identify program opportunities
  • Produce compelling creative presentations, proposals, and RFP responses
  • Attend trade shows and client events as a brand representative and strategic advisor
  • Work within the TSS platform to document program plans, timelines, and client deliverables
  • Own the Trade Show Savvy and Red Door Three brand voice, visual identity, and positioning across all channels
  • Develop and execute a content strategy that supports lead generation, thought leadership, and brand awareness
  • Lead The Little Purple Book content program — LinkedIn posts, blog, and related assets — with support from the President
  • Manage social media presence across LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
  • Oversee all marketing collateral — sell sheets, case studies, website copy, email campaigns, and event materials
  • Direct outside creative vendors (designers, photographers, videographers) as needed
  • Track marketing performance and recommend adjustments based on results
  • Support the TSS platform's go-to-market efforts including client-facing product materials
