Since its launch in 2020, Vego Garden has rapidly become a leader in raised garden beds and a fast-growing consumer brand. With a 200,000-square-foot headquarters and distribution center, and a 5-acre farm, the company employs over 100 team members. Vego Garden's raised garden beds are known for durability, eco-friendliness, and safety. The company partners with major retailers like Costco, ACE Hardware, Home Depot, Menards, Lowe’s, Wayfair, and Amazon. Through initiatives like Vego Garden Kids and the Giving Back Program, over 3,500 garden beds have been donated to schools and communities. Requirements

  • 8-12+ years in brand, creative, or marketing leadership roles.
  • Background in scaling a DTC or lifestyle brand from growth stage to maturity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Design.
  • 3-5+ years managing creative or brand teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Proven ability to build a community-led brand and turn complex products into accessible, aspirational lifestyle stories.
  • Understanding of data and ability to communicate with both creative and performance marketing teams.
  • Proven ability to manage a complex, multi-layered marketing calendar with expert-level proficiency.
  • Must be able to operate a computer for prolonged periods with moderate walking, standing, lifting, carrying, moving objects, reaching and crouching.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to outdoor environments including hot and cold temperatures and humidity.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the home/garden sector is a significant plus.
  • MBA is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Define and scale the Vego Garden brand into a category-defining lifestyle company.
  • Own brand strategy, creative direction, and customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Develop and lead a clear brand roadmap that positions Vego Garden as the leading name in modern, sustainable gardening.
  • Evolve the brand narrative into a lifestyle-driven story centered on the joy of growing, harvesting, and eating your own food.
  • Own and evolve the visual identity and voice, ensuring consistency and excellence across all channels.
  • Define the role of each social platform to drive audience growth, engagement, and conversion.
  • Drive the roadmap for the digital experience, optimizing navigation, storytelling, and conversion.
  • Set the editorial vision and seasonal content themes across channels, building a scalable engine for high-quality content.
  • Establish and govern the global brand voice, providing a strategic framework for all written communication.
  • Develop a strategy that elevates real customer stories, making gardening approachable and building trust.
  • Align creative strategy with Growth objectives, overseeing the development of high-performing assets for paid channels.
  • Lead end-to-end brand and creative for product launches, from positioning and messaging to multi-channel rollout.
  • Ensure a cohesive brand experience across all customer touchpoints, including paid media, lifecycle marketing, website, retail, and post-purchase.
  • Direct the creative vision for all physical brand touchpoints and packaging, ensuring a premium unboxing experience.
  • Build, lead, and develop a multidisciplinary creative team (design, copy, social, etc.).
  • Leverage reviews, community feedback, and behavioral data to identify friction points and inform brand and product decisions.
  • Stay ahead of trends in home, garden, and sustainable living to keep the brand relevant and differentiated.
  • Partner with Growth to ensure performance marketing, lifecycle campaigns, and influencer efforts are fully aligned with brand standards.
  • Help shape seasonal and lifecycle messaging that strengthens engagement and long-term customer loyalty.
  • Track brand health and key DTC metrics (CAC, ROAS, conversion rate, branded search), ensuring creative work drives measurable impact.
  • Continuously test messaging, formats, and creative approaches to improve performance and deepen customer resonance.
