Creative Asset Manager

The Lumistella Company•Atlanta, GA

About The Position

The Creative Asset Manager will establish and lead The Lumistella Company’s asset-management function, initially focusing on digital assets across Creative, Product Design, and Packaging. This hands-on role develops the processes, governance standards, and cross-functional workflows needed to organize, maintain, and distribute assets as the function grows. It manages the digital asset lifecycle from intake and approval through distribution and archival, maintaining Acquia DAM (formerly Widen) as a reliable source of truth. The role manages Visual Arts assets such as artwork, photography, video, fonts, brand guides, stock imagery, and AI-generated or AI-assisted content, as well as Product and Packaging assets such as mechanicals, CAD files, renderings, tech packs, and toolkits. It also supports the management of visual assets and guides created by Creative for Marketing. Working across Creative, Product, Marketing, IT, Legal, Licensing, and other business functions, the manager ensures assets are current, approved, documented, and easy to locate. The role partners with IT on Acquia DAM, Workfront, and related systems, and supports consistent processes for physical creative and product assets while the responsible teams retain day-to-day management. Following Legal guidance, the Creative Asset Manager tracks licensing and usage rights and maintains documentation concerning approvals, ownership, restrictions, permitted uses, and expiration dates. The role ensures requirements are reflected in the asset-management system and communicated when assets are distributed, escalating missing information, conflicting documentation, or potential compliance concerns for review.
