About The Position
A crate-building company at the Port of Catoosa is hiring a Crate Builder, also described as a case builder. The role involves building crates and requires the ability to read a tape measure, stand, operate a rivet gun or other power tool, and lift 50 pounds. Rivet-gun operation can be taught, but applicants must be able to hold a power tool. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Overtime may require starting at 5:00 a.m. and working some Saturdays.
Requirements
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to stand for the job.
- Ability to hold and operate a power tool; rivet-gun operation can be taught.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Availability to work overtime when required, including early starts and some Saturdays.
