About The Position

Illinois Electric Works is seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Service Technician to join our team. If you have strong electrical troubleshooting ability and mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for problem-solving, we want to hear from you! This role involves performing diagnostics to identify issues and determine appropriate repair solutions, conducting repairs and maintenance, and performing inspections and preventative maintenance. The technician will collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs, provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions, and travel to customer sites to repair equipment.

Requirements

HS Diploma or equivalent required
Valid US Driver's License
2+ years of experience working with industrial equipment, including cranes and hoists
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for electric equipment
Ability to work unsupervised
Able to work at great heights
Willingness to learn to operate cranes, and other relevant equipment required

Nice To Haves

Further degree a plus
Proficiency in operating cranes, hoists, and other relevant equipment a plus
