Webber, part of Ferrovial Construction, is hiring a Crane Operator for heavy civil work. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the operator operates a lattice boom type crane to hoist and move materials, raise and lower heavy weights, and perform related operations. The role requires a valid OSHA-recognized crane operator certification, such as NCCER or NCCCO. The position involves operating equipment safely, avoiding hazards and obstructions, and potentially servicing the machine. The employee must follow company safety policies and procedures, report unsafe activities, contribute to team and company goals, and provide leadership through example and sharing knowledge. Other duties may be assigned. This is a field role with heavy physical activity and outdoor exposure to changing weather, including extreme heat and cold. The work environment may include wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, and usually loud noise. Webber requires selected field-position candidates to pass a medical exam. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States; selected candidates must also pass a drug screen, and some positions require a background check.
